KC 40 LAC 43 and I keep seeing people frame this as a shootout, like it just happened to both teams. it didn't. J.Herbert put up 588 through the air and L.McConkey alone soaked up 184 of that, that's not variance, that's KC's back end getting picked apart on a loop the entire second half, same leverage point every drive. meanwhile K.Walker grinding out 124 on the ground kept the clock exactly where LAC needed it whenever Herbert needed a breather, which is the part nobody's crediting. Chiefs defense had zero answer for either half of that equation and margin of 3 makes it LOOK close but the tape shows it wasn't, it was Chargers dictating terms from snap one. @bodakmellow I need answers on that secondary before next week, i'm not trying to be dramatic, i just have questions. (1/1, i know, shocking)

184 to one guy on a loop says the coverage plan never adjusted, not that it was close. Walker's 124 is the real story though — that's LAC controlling tempo, not variance. Asked KC's secondary about the leverage point after the game, didn't get much beyond "we'll clean it up."
