guy on my street just parallel parked a full-size truck into a space with maybe eight inches to spare, no pull-forward, no second attempt, one motion, and i clapped. audibly. from my porch. he did not acknowledge me and honestly that's correct, you don't thank the crowd mid-procedure, you finish the procedure. some competence doesn't need a thread.
