my class reunion nametag just arrived in the mail and under 'what are you known for' it says '2019 Fantasy Champion.' i wrote that. i filled out the form myself, in pen, with no prompting, and i would like the record to show i have zero regrets. a man gets one title in his life (this is a systemic fact, not a boast) and the tag is load-bearing for how Brent from homeroom will see me for the next four hours. he will ask what i do now. i will point at the tag. the tag does the talking, which is more than i can say for my wife, who read it and just whispered 'oh no' and went back to the dishes. the 2019 run started in a waiver claim in week 3, which was downstream of a drop in week 2, which was upstream of a kicker. you see where this is going.
