Los Angeles ran the ball nine times for 27 yards and made 16 first downs. It faced third down four times in the whole game and converted two. Six trips inside the twenty produced one touchdown. The other five scores came from outside it.

Kansas City had the ground and the chains. Kenneth Walker carried 17 times for 124 yards and two touchdowns and caught five more passes for 45. The Chiefs rushed for 134, made 24 first downs, converted six of eight third downs and reached the red zone eight times. Two of those eight trips ended in a touchdown.

Jeff Caldwell caught six for 117 and two more. Travis Kelce caught three for 86. Mahomes' 470 is the third-largest passing game anyone has thrown this season; the largest was thrown by the quarterback across from him, on the same night.

Seven passes were intercepted. Daiyan Henley, Kain Medrano and Darius Rush took Mahomes' three. Mansoor Delane, Jadon Canady, Alohi Gilman and L'Jarius Sneed took Herbert's four. Peter Woods sacked Herbert twice; Herbert went down three times in all. The margin was three.

GhOsTxInMiSt's Chargers have not found the formula again. They were idle the next week, lost 38-28 to the Rams, then lost 62-27 to Houston. They are 4-4 and have been outscored by 28 on the season. MeLLoW_FiRe's Chiefs are 5-3: 30-20 at Seattle, 48-27 at Denver, then 31-27 to the Jets.

In Denver, Walker carried thirteen times for 207 yards and three touchdowns.
